The project entitled New Green Electric Power – The role of new green electric energy in the modernization of the material handling process of Pécsi Sörfőzde Zrt. has begun
Pécsi Sörfőzde Zrt. won a grant of HUF 15,705,473 in the application number GINOP-1.2.10-19-2019-00053 for the support of technological modernization of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises within the framework of the Széchenyi 2020 program.
The project will expand the capacity of the production process - expanding the capacity of the internal material handling area and meeting the material handling demand arising from the new warehouse capacity created.
In terms of existing production processes, by integrating modern, up-to-date equipment into the material handling process, raw material service times are reduced. This also reduces the downtime of the production line and increases production efficiency. Production processes can be optimized even more, which results in a reduction in unit costs. By expanding the warehouse capacity, the final stage of the production process remains within the factory area, the number of stock allocations of finished goods is reduced, which also results in savings in terms of transportation and simplifies, thus making inventory management more accurate.
The use of modern electric forklifts has shown progress in terms of cost savings in general operating costs and productivity.
The investment can achieve significant results in the areas of environmental protection, occupational safety, safety-enhancing systems and ergonomics.
