At Pécsi Brewery, not only the quality of beer but also environmental protection is given a high priority. Over the past three years, we have achieved quantifiable results in the field of sustainability – based on the data from the end of last year, we have made significant progress in the efficiency of energy use and the reduction of harmful emissions.
🔻 We reduced our gas consumption by 26.2% compared to 2022 , based on the values per hectoliter of beer. ⚡ Our electricity consumption from the grid decreased by 22.2% , also per hectoliter. 🌍 Our CO₂ emissions decreased by 19.3% in two years , based on the production of one hectoliter of beer.
All of this not only represents progress in numbers, but also reflects our faith in the future: we are building a brewery that thinks responsibly in the long term – and that demonstrates its sustainability efforts with tangible results.
